On the Ocean coast, at the far end of the Médoc, discover the CHM, a magical naturist domain with almost 500 acres of pine-wood. Those in search of authenticity will be enchanted by the two kilometre naturist beach in the heart of an exceptional nature.
Sports enthusiasts will surely choose the entirely renovated swimming pool situated amid the pine trees. The swimming pool is divided into lanes where you could practice your crawl at all times.
Not far away, for the little ones there is a 10 cm-deep pool with a gentle slope to get them to familiarise with water, while the parents relax in the Jacuzzi. For those who’d rather laze about or read a book sunbathing we have got the right place for them also !
Tonic and soft aqua gym lessons are also provided from 11am to 12pm and from 12pm to 13pm. Nothing like it to safely get back in shape.
You have also the possibility of taking swimming lessons or to polish your technique at the Hélio Surf School. Lessons, whether individually or in groups, take place in the swimming pool.
The youngest will get to know the water by trying to keep their heads under and holding on to the ladder while blowing bubbles. No danger whatsoever, beginners will swim in a shallow pool, Stéphane will jump into the water with them. Advanced swimmers could use the lanes intended for that purpose.
Respect nudity when the weahter conditions allow is the rule at the CHM. If you wear a swim suit, better plan something else because access to the swimming pool will be denied. This might seem partial for some people, but that's the price to pay if we want the CHM to remain the naturist leisure centre that it has always been.
