On the Ocean coast, at the far end of the Médoc, discover the CHM, a magical naturist domain with almost 500 acres of pine-wood. Those in search of authenticity will be enchanted by the two kilometre naturist beach in the heart of an exceptional nature.
Since 8 years old Stéphane Latella, our qualified instructor, has been surfing on the Atlantic waves. Needless telling you how well he is acquainted with the ocean.
When you get to Beach 1, you will see on your left-hand side, just before going down the dune, the Helio Surf Club. Stéphane and his team are waiting for you from April till November to share his passion for this thrilling sport. It is not necessary to bring any equipment, suits and boards can be borrowed on site. The sessions and trainings are both meant for beginners, from 6 years old, and for advanced surfers who wish to improve their technique.

First it is theory that you need to learn and understand. Stéphane will teach you for a start the safety instructions and the theory of the streams. Still on the sand, you will learn the technique of moving from the lying to the standing position without using your knees. That’s when good abs can really help other than to show off.
The following steps will show you how to train first on your knees then up on the board using the wave energy to move. Before you know it, to your great pleasure, thrilling sensations will get you.
