Rules of procedure



These regulations are destined for application within the Centre Hélio Marin (CHM) Campsite and Holiday Village in Montalivet – SA SOCNAT.
These regulations are enforceable upon every person present within CHM, which is to say the different users (holiday makers, residents, and visitors), professionals, retailers and their employees, the Company staff, the personnel of companies called upon to work in the Centre by SOCNAT or one of its clients.

1. Entry and staying conditions
In order to be allowed to enter, settle in or stay on a campsite, authorisation is required by the manager or his/her representative.
The latter must ensure the good upkeep and order of the campsite as well as the application of the present interior regulations.
Staying on the campsite implies acceptance of the conditions of the present regulations and a commitment to adhere to them.
Nobody may take up residence.

2. Police formalities
Minors who are not accompanied by their parents shall only be admitted with written authorisation from the latter.
In accordance with article R. 611-35 of the Immigration and Right of Asylum Code, the manager must require customers of foreign nationality to fill out and sign an individual police form upon arrival. It must mention, in particular:
     1° Surname and forenames
     2° Date and place of birth
     3° Nationality
     4° Regular domicile
Children under 15 years old can be included on the form of one of their parents.

3. Setting up
Outdoor accommodation and equipment pertaining to it must be set up on the specified pitch in accordance with the directives given by the manager or his/her representative.

4. Reception
The opening hours are on display in Reception.
In Reception there is all the information about the campsite services as well as about options for supplies, sports facilities, local tourist attractions and various addresses that may come in useful.
A system for the reception and processing of complaints is available to customers.

5. Display of information
The present interior regulations are displayed at the entrance to the campsite and in Reception. They may be given to any customer whose asks for them.
For accredited campsites, the category of Tourism or Leisure accreditation and the number of tourism or leisure pitches are displayed.
The prices of the different services are provided to customers in accordance with the conditions stipulated by the Decree of the Minister for Consumer Affairs and can be viewed in Reception.

6. Modalities of departure
Customers are requested to inform Reception of their departure the day before. Customers planning to leave before Reception opens must pay for their stay the day before.

7. Noise and silence
Customers are requested to avoid all noises or discussions which may disturb their neighbours.
Sound equipment must be adjusted accordingly. The closing of doors and boots must also be as discreet as possible.
Dogs and other animals must never be left unleashed. They must not be left on the campsite, even locked up, in the absence of their owners, who are socially liable for them.
The manager ensures customers’ peace and quiet by fixing times during which there must be complete silence.

8. Visitors
Visitors are allowed on the campsite under the responsibility of the campers receiving them and after being authorised to do so by the manager or his representative.
Customers can meet visitor(s) at Reception. The campsites’ services and facilities are open to visitors.
However, use of these facilities may be charged according to a price which must be on display at the campsite entrance and in Reception.
Visitors’ cars are not allowed on the campsite.

9. Traffic circulation and parking of vehicles
Vehicles must drive at a reduced speed on the campsite.
Traffic circulation is permitted from 6:00 am to 12:30 am.
Only vehicles belonging to campers staying on site are permitted to circulate on site.
Parking on pitches normally occupied by accommodation is strictly forbidden unless a there is parking place intended to this effect.
Parking must not hinder the circulation of traffic nor prevent the settling in of new arrivals.

10. Presentation and appearance of installations
Everyone is required to refrain from any action that may be of detriment to the cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of the campsite and its facilities, particularly the washing facilities.
It is forbidden to throw waste water on the ground or in the gutters.
Customers must empty waste water in the facilities destined for this purpose.
Household waste, other waste of any sort and paper must be placed in the bins.
Washing is strictly forbidden anywhere other than in the basins destined for such use.
Washing shall be hung out, if necessary, in the communal drying room. However, it is tolerated until 10 am near the accommodation upon the condition that it is discreet and does not disturb the neighbours.
It must never be done so using the trees.
The flower beds and decorative flowers must be respected. It is forbidden to pin nails into the trees, cut off branches or to plant anything.
It is not permitted to delimit a pitch using personal means, or to dig.
Any reparation of damage to the plant life, fencing, site or site facilities will be charged to the person responsible for it.
The pitch used during the stay must be maintained in the condition in which the camper found it upon arrival.

11. Safety
a) Fire.
Open fires (wood, coal etc.) are strictly forbidden. Camping stoves must be kept in good working order and must not be used under dangerous conditions.
In the event of fire, inform the Management immediately. Extinguishers may be used if necessary.
There is a first aid kit in Reception.

b) Theft.
The Management is responsible for objects placed in Reception and has a general duty to monitor the campsite. Campers retain the responsibility for their own pitch and must notify the person in charge of
the presence of any suspicious-looking people. Customers are requested to take customary precautions for the safety of their equipment.

12. Games
No violent or disruptive games may be organised near the facilities.
The meeting room cannot be used for active games.
Children must always be supervised by their parents.

13. Dumping
Unused equipment can only be left on site with the agreement of the Management and only in the specified location. This service may be charged.

14. Breach of the Interior Regulations
If a resident disrupts the stay of other users or does not respect the conditions of the present Interior Regulations, the manager or his/her representative may verbally or in writing, if he deems necessary, warn the former to put an end to the troubles.
In the event of serious or repeated breach of the Interior Regulations and after request by the manager
to adhere to them, the latter may terminate the agreement.
In the case of criminal offence the manager may call the police.



1. Conditions of entry
The site is forbidden to all people who are not naturists.
The Management will refuse all “holiday with” entry to people who are not naturists.
It is compulsory for single persons who have never stayed at CHM to have been recommended by a customer. Their entry will be refused if this is not the case.
Everyone must visibly wear their pass bearing their photo and the information proving their right to stay upon entry to the campsite. This pass is required everywhere.
Each individual must satisfy the requirements of the inspections carried out at the various entrances to activity sites or points of access to the beaches and on occupied pitches.
Cars must strictly be registered with Reception in order to be allowed on the campsite.

2. Naturism
Given that the Centre is entirely naturist, complete nudity is compulsory and must be respected by everyone who enters the site. It is forbidden to wear bathing costumes, thongs and intimate jewellery throughout the Centre.
Failure to respect the requirement of nudity on site may lead to a warning from the staff in charge of enforcing the present Interior regulations.
The issue of three successive warnings will lead to the definitive exclusion of the offender from the site.
Naturist living is based upon a physical (nudity) and moral (tolerance) behaviour as well as an appropriate attitude that thus excludes any ambiguity or form of exhibitionism or provocation, as well as any malicious or inappropriate language.
Any public affront to decency and the vocation of naturism shall be sanctioned by immediate expulsion of the culprit from the site.
This expulsion shall also lead to the immediate and definitive termination of the stay or pitch rental agreement.

3. Suggestions and complaints
Only dated and signed “suggestions/complaints” forms that are sufficiently detailed and referring to relatively recent events shall be considered.

4. Minors
The supervision of authorised minors falls by obligation to the people who are civilly responsible for them.
Only minors accompanied by an adult will be permitted to occupy a pitch.

5. Installations
Awnings must be made of canvas. It is against campsite rules to adjoin solid material.
It is prohibited to install a garden shed on the pitches.
Car washing and watering in any form of the communal roads and paths or the pitches is strictly forbidden.
The installation of personal outdoor washing facilities is not tolerated.
In the event of dispute and in the absence of a wrongdoer, installations may be moved if necessary, overseen by a bailiff and expenses paid for.

6. Fees
Users staying in passing must pay their fees on the day of their arrival.
Fees are to be paid at Reception. Prices are displayed at the campsite entrance and in Reception.
They are to be paid according to the number of nights spent on the site.

7. Noise and silence
There must be complete silence between 10:00pm and 7:00am (except dispensation).
To avoid noise disturbance in high season through the maintenance of pitches, the use in particular of mowers or other mowing devices or combustion engine strimmers, as well as any other noisy equipment,
is strictly forbidden between 15th June and 15th September (except in the case of exceptional dispensation granted by the campsite Management).
Outside of this period, noisy work is prohibited on Sundays.

8. Visitors
If visitors come unexpectedly, the security service will check that the user who receives them is present and in agreement. If the user is absent the visitors will be refused entry to the Centre.
If the visitors are granted entry to the campsite the user who is staying and who receives them is required to pay a fee (day visit price) displayed in Reception and at the site entrance.
People visiting yearly residents, whether members of their family or not, who are granted entry to the campsite, are under the responsibility of the former.
They can enter the campsite for free (5 hours maximum).
Beyond 5 hours and in the case of a breach of this right to visit (maximum of one visit per week for the same visitor) and insofar as the visitor intends to access the campsite services, facilities and beach, the user who receives them is required to pay the same fee as for other visitors.

9. Dogs and other animals
Dogs will be allowed on site after presentation of an up-to-date vaccination record, under the condition that they are always kept on a lead and that their excrements are picked up straight away by their owner. They must be micro-chipped.
For reasons of hygiene, dogs and other pets are not allowed on the beach and are prohibited from all public places of C.H.M. (the Shopping Centre, the Robert Poulain space, the OBOULABA cinema and other public buildings).
Generally speaking they must never be a nuisance to third parties. Dogs and other animals must never be allowed off the lead. Only household pets are allowed on the site. Their owners are civilly liable for them.
Given that the abandoning of animals is punishable by law, any such case shall be declared to the competent authorities.
Dogs classed in category 1 (Pitbull or Mastiff types) and category 2 (American Staffordshire terrier, Staffordshire bull terrier, Tosa and Rottweiler) are prohibited on the site.

10. Traffic circulation and parking of vehicles
Careful attention must be paid to children and cyclists.
It should be noted that vehicles must be driven at a speed no greater than 10km/h on the campsite.
Traffic circulation is prohibited between 12:30am and 6:00am.
All circulation of motorised vehicles and bicycles is subject to the rules of the French Highway Code.
Any breach may lead to a warning from the security service of the Management of the campsite. The issuing of three successive warnings will lead to the definitive exclusion of the offender’s vehicle from the site.

11. Safety and Fire
There are panels displaying information and an evacuation map reminding people of the procedures and behaviour to adopt in the case of fire.
It is strictly forbidden to smoke in communal areas and entertainment areas (Cinema, Home TV, Marquee, Meeting room, Craft village, Swimming pool, Aquatic park etc.).
For obvious security reasons, camp fires, fireworks, firecrackers are strictly prohibited both on the campsite and on the beach.
In high season the first aid post at the entrance to CHM is open 24 hours and offers first aid services while waiting for the emergency services to arrive. 

12. Placing posters
The posting of personal announcements is subject to authorisation from the Management.
Personal announcements must be written on the small posters destined for this purpose, which bear the CHM stamp as proof of authorisation, and must not bear any political or religious messages.
The Management reserves the right to remove from the display boards any poster that has not been approved or is considered inappropriate or ambiguous.

13. Beach – bathing – swimming pool – aquatic park – spa
Entry to these different locations is monitored and may be refused to any person who does not respect the requirement for complete nudity.
Swimming is only allowed within the “bathing limits” as defined by the Lifeguards, who have all decisionmaking authority on the choice of the bathing zone.
All users without exception must adhere to the safety regulations.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach between 11:00am and 7:00pm.
For reasons of hygiene, showers are compulsory before entering the swimming pool and aquatic park.

14. Films and photographs
It is forbidden to take photos and/or film people or groups in the on the campsite.
Failure to respect this rule will be considered an infringement upon the freedom of other people and will be sanctioned by the immediate and definitive termination of the rental agreement and the expulsion of the offender.

15. Alcohol and forbidden products
The sale of alcoholic products to minors is strictly forbidden in the Centre.
Alcohol or alcoholic drinks should be drunk responsibly.
Sanctions may be taken against the parents of minors found to be in a state of drunkenness: immediate and definitive termination of the stay or rental agreement.
This termination will not lead to any compensation or reimbursement.
Public intoxication or manifest states of drunkenness are forbidden in the communal areas of CHM.
In the case of damage or destruction caused under the influence of alcohol, the cost of reparation and refurbishment will be charged to the wrongdoer.
If the case concerns minors who have drunk alcohol then the costs will be charged to the parents who are civilly liable.
Drunken behaviour is forbidden in the Centre.
The consumption of illicit products as defined by the laws in force in France will lead to the expulsion of the wrongdoer after termination of his/her stay, without compensation or reimbursement.
If the case concerns a criminal offence, the offender will be liable to judicial proceedings.

16. Sanctions of breaches of the Regulations
Any breach of the Interior Regulations may be the subject of a warning or notice to put right or put a stop to the problem.
In the case of a serious or repeated breach of the Interior Regulations, and after being requested to adhere to them by the Management of the Centre, the latter may proceed with the definitive and immediate termination of the stay or pitch rental agreement of the person responsible, without
reimbursement or compensation.
In the case of a criminal offence, the manager may call the police.
