Spending holidays at the CHM is enjoying the pleasure of the nude beach and the benefits of salty sea air. There are two direct accesses from the CHM to the 2 kilometre long exceptional naturist beach.
We can reach the beach on foot or on bicycle, by either, passing the aquatic park to go to beach 1, or crossing the Ajoncs sector amidst the pine trees and the dunes to end up in beach 2. When you see hundreds of parked bicycles, it means that you are indeed in the right place.
Are you more keen on, Nude Beach 1 or Nude Beach 2 ?
You choose your beach according to the atmosphere you are looking for. Beach 1 is livelier than beach 2, that is, in fact, where beach volley courts and the main lifeguard post are situated; whereas, beach 2 is more intended for those seeking tranquillity to rest or to read a good book.
Before going down the dune, don’t be surprised if you are asked to take your clothes off, at least for those who still have any on. What could be more normal than being unclothed in a naturist centre, even more so, on a naturist beach ?
Once you get to the dunes, you’ll discover an endless beach. Put down your towel and head straight to the ocean. There is nothing like taking an invigorating swim through the waves. Body boarders and surfers will have loads of fun there, but don’t worry, you will be swimming under the watchful eye of our naturist lifeguards.
The CHM beach is awarded "Blue flag" ...
As the nude beach tends to be fragile and easily spoilt, each year, the CHM with the assistance of The Sufrider Fondation and the Clubs Naturists undertake a thorough cleaning. Always bearing in mind the respect of the environment, which is an essential feature of the naturist values; we, thus, encourage young and not so young holidaymakers to participate.
Therefore, we are keen on keeping the beach very clean and make sure that the quality of the water for swimming is excellent, we are, each year, awarded the “blue flag”.
Late in the afternoon, when walking away from nude Beach1, take a break at the bar, which is next to the surf hut, to drink a fresh and delicious fruit juice.
